Riding on the high
Hi all
Still riding on the high of getting national radio exposure ever since ‘Choices’ got on the Radio 2 playlist, we’ve been up and down the country performing live on regional radio stations. A couple of Monday’s ago we drove to Touch Radio in Banbury, then onto BBC Derby before we ended up live on air in BBC Hull at 8 o’clock at night. After a quick snack/12″ pizza in Pizza Hut we turned around and drove back down the M1 - who said life on the road wasn’t glamourous….(!)
We’re really excited about our Roy Orbison cover ‘Love in Time’ - it’s going to be released on July 13th and the video can be seen on our website as we speak….although even more importantly, the album is going to be out on digital on June 22nd and in the shops from June 29th - so get yourselves down to HMV!
Janice Long has invited us to come on her show on Wednesday 24th June to do a live session - we’re absolutely over the moon to be given this opportunity and CANNOT wait! I’m sure it’ll be pretty nerve-wracking but Janice is a total pro and made us feel completely at ease when we performed on her show on BBC Birmingham a few months ago.
Last week we performed an intimate, acoustic gig at Caffe Nero in Holburn as part of London Songwriters Week - we had a really good time and hope to play at one of their stores again soon . We’re also performing in Canary Wharf on Monday 20th July - see the ‘tour date’ section of our website for more details- which brings me onto the fact that we’ve spent the last couple of months working on this website with our mate Pun in Thailand - we think he’s done a great job and hope you guys like it too. (Check out the Honey Ryder VIP subscription packages)
Preparing for the album launch is taking up a great deal of our time at the moment - but it’s worth every second - as this could be the most important Summer of our lives……
Take care
Love Lindz and Martyn

Heard the Janice Long gig, fantastic! (As always) So nice that you’re finally getting the radio 2 airplay you deserve. I’ve been emailing the togmeister (Terry Wogan to the uninitiated lol) since I saw you supporting Will Young in Ipswich last year and now I’m telling all my friends that you’re on Radio 2!
I spent so much time telling everyone how great you guys were when I saw you that they think I’m obsessed! Don’t worry, I’m not, just a huge fan.
Well done on everything so far guys, I really hope it continues to be the ride of your lives.
PS; The Album is awesome, been playing it practically non stop since I got it at the gig last year.
Best wishes, and all the luck you deserve
Brandie
